Sarah Felchlin
Sarah Felchlin joined the 2nd Chance 4 Pets volunteer team out of her deep passion for helping animals. At her home in South Lake Tahoe with her boyfriend and dog, a 4 ½ year old border-collie mix named Tenaya, her passions become reality. Her most recent project was assisting with the design of the organization’s avian welfare newsletter, which gave her more insight on the plight of companion birds. When Sarah isn’t helping out with 2nd Chance 4 Pets, she is working at home as a freelance graphic designer, editor, and project manager. You can check out her portfolio at www.sarahfelchlin.com. Sarah’s outside interests include climbing, hiking, and skiing the mountains around Tahoe.
Jaspal Singh
Jaspal “Jassi” Singh, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has been a significant part of the 2nd Chance 4 Pets volunteer team for more than 2 years. His finance, marketing, and artistic abilities have contributed to our efforts to reduce the number of pets being euthanized when their owners die. Jassi has been a key contributor to the quarterly newsletters and fundraising efforts. According to Jassi, his most rewarding experience was the design of homeless pet flyers that told the story about pets in need of new forever homes. Because of his efforts, many of the animals featured in the flyers were adopted by new, caring families. Jassi is married to Alice, an accomplished American Saddlebred horse enthusiast and equine photographer. They both enjoy spending time with their two Jack Russell Terriers, Lucy and Taz. Lucy enjoys hunting and running with Jassi, and Taz loves getting into trouble!

Kathryn has been driving our veterinarian outreach project, and has enthusiastically helped with promoting our local workshops. Kathryn lives in Glen Allen, Virginia with her husband James and her two dogs, Kelsey and Chestnut. She adopted Kelsey from the Roanoke, Virginia SPCA. Chestnut was adopted from Save Our Shelters - Pen Pals, a program featured on Animal Planet in which inmates train shelter dogs that are about to be euthanized and turns them into adoptable pets. When not volunteering, Kathryn enjoys spending time with her family, pets, and friends.
